Looks as if the Addicks have lost out on the possible signing of Swedish international goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson.
Reports in the guardian this morning confirm that David James has moved to Portsmouth and as a consequence "City are expected to sign the Sweden international goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson, currently at Rennes, once James completes his move to Fratton Park. Isaksson's agent Roger Ljung told the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet yesterday: "I am on my way to a meeting to negotiate in Manchester. We would not be here if we didn't think it would be sealed."
